N95 Respirator Mask Supplier Saudi Arabia – Oil & Gas, Construction and Industrial Respiratory Protection

N95 respirator masks are among the most critical respiratory protection items used across Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas, petrochemical, construction, and general industrial sectors. RAF Safety is a leading N95 respirator supplier in Saudi Arabia, stocking 3M N95 masks and other certified respiratory protection products from our branches in Riyadh, Al Jubail, Jeddah, Dammam, and Abha. Our Al Jubail branch is particularly important for this category – positioned at the centre of Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical industry where N95 specification is a routine requirement for site access.

N95 vs FFP2 vs KN95 – What Is the Difference?

The three main respirator designations seen in Saudi Arabia can cause confusion for procurement managers. Here is a clear comparison:

  • N95 (NIOSH Standard, USA): Filters at least 95% of airborne particles (not oil-based). Certified by the US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The N95 designation is widely specified by international contractors, Aramco standards, and US-aligned safety regulations. The most commonly requested respirator type in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas sector.
  • FFP2 (EN 149 Standard, Europe): Filters at least 94% of airborne particles, including oil-based aerosols. CE marked, tested under European standard EN 149. FFP2 is functionally equivalent to N95 in filtration performance and is specified on SABIC and European-contractor-led projects in the Kingdom. RAF Safety stocks FFP2-rated respirators as part of our respiratory protection range.
  • KN95 (GB 2626 Standard, China): Filters at least 95% of airborne particles. Meets Chinese national standard. KN95 masks became widely available during COVID-19 but are not accepted as equivalent to NIOSH N95 by OSHA, Aramco, or most international contractor HSE specifications. RAF Safety advises clients requiring NIOSH or EN 149 certification not to substitute KN95 unless specifically approved by their safety authority.

NIOSH vs CE Certification – Which Do You Need?

The certification required depends on the principal contractor’s or operator’s specified standards:

  • Aramco contractors and US-aligned projects: NIOSH N95 certification required
  • SABIC, Total, Shell, and European-contractor-led projects: EN 149 FFP2 (CE marking) accepted
  • General Saudi construction and labour: Either N95 or FFP2 is typically acceptable; verify with your HSE manager

Use Cases in KSA Industry

  • Oil and Gas: H2S exposure control, benzene vapour environments, catalyst dust in refineries and petrochemical plants across Al Jubail and Dammam
  • Construction: Silica dust (concrete cutting, drilling), cement dust, road base dust – all of which are SASO-notifiable respiratory hazards on Saudi construction sites
  • Manufacturing: Metal fume, welding smoke, paint and solvent mist in fabrication workshops
  • Painting and Surface Preparation: Blast cleaning dust, primer and topcoat solvents during industrial coating operations
  • General Hygiene: Protection from airborne pathogens in crowded workplaces and communal labour accommodation

3M N95 Models Stocked by RAF Safety

RAF Safety stocks multiple 3M N95 models to suit different application requirements:

  • 3M 8210: The most widely used N95 in Saudi Arabia. Flat-fold design, no exhalation valve. For general dust, fume, and mist protection.
  • 3M 8511: N95 with exhalation valve. The Cool Flow valve reduces heat and moisture build-up inside the mask – important in Saudi Arabia’s high-temperature working environments. Preferred by workers wearing masks for extended shifts.
  • 3M 8812: FFP1 rated – lower filtration for environments with lower particulate concentrations and less demanding regulatory requirements.

Bulk Box Pricing and Stock Availability in Al Jubail

N95 respirators are supplied in boxes of 20 masks and cases of 480 masks. Bulk case pricing is available for contractors purchasing 10 cases or more. RAF Safety’s Al Jubail branch holds dedicated stock of 3M N95 respirators for same-day supply to Eastern Province contractors – eliminating the wait for Riyadh warehouse shipments that costs petrochemical site contractors critical response time during unplanned maintenance events.

Contact RAF Safety at +966 54 494 8017 or WhatsApp for N95 stock checks and bulk pricing. We deliver to Riyadh, Al Jubail, Jeddah, Dammam, and Abha with same-day or next-day fulfilment for in-stock items.
